Meet the Riding Instructors

David, Jessica, and McKenna Bein are fully dedicated to sharing their love of horses with the general public! The dream of Arizona Riding Lessons came to fruition when David and Jessica realized that more attention needed to be given to the "grassroots" of our industry. Jessica is a level II ARICP riding instructor in reining and saddle seat, as well as a national champion rider and instructor. She focuses mainly on intermediate and advanced riders at Bein Performance Horses (a full service training and show facility), but has a passion for beginner riders. "There is no substitute for doing it right the first time" says Jessica in reference to learning to ride. Jessica oversees the program, gives lessons, provides top quality lesson horses, equipment, and continued education for her riding instructors. David is the backbone of the operation. He does not give lessons, as he shows in the amateur division, but he does much of the meeting and greeting of new clients. His greatest attribute is in preparing the students for their instructors and getting them to their lesson on time. You can also find him preparing for shows, doing maintenance, hauling, and organizing lessons. Additionally, he is our on staff EMT. Finally, McKenna is the daughter of David and Jessica.  She can usually be found wondering around with a horse or pony in tow, doing her favorite thing: oiling hoofs.

Lauren Whyte is a multi national champion rider in reining, trail, equitation, and horsemanship. Her talents extend to giving riding lessons to youth and adult riders. She is currently on staff training at Bein Performance Horses.
